I know this is helping the bad guys , but here's a Chewbacca loop for those with a wookiee costume. I elected not to use any actual Greedo lines in the loop because they contrasted way to much with the quality of the game sounds. This is comprised completely of video game Rodian sounds, so it is what it is. Listen to the loop a couple of times and hopefully you'll recognize when swipes will happen. I put there after a soft growl every time so you'll know the cue to swipe. I also added some arm swiping sounds here and there. This is comprised of video game Wampa sounds, plus some breathing I created. Also, thanks to Robert Redden for the HUGE contribution of lines. This is comprised almost entirely of Galactic Republic game sounds. The loop is only about a minute, but it's something. I also added some very light breathing underneath to add a little texture. I took the phrases, chopped them up, mixed and matched some to hopefully create some variation. While it was short, it contained the full recording of Garindan's "line" from the movie, clean and clear. Thanks to Warren Markert for a beautiful Garindan file I didn't have. I don't know if anyone has built a Tusken Raider/Jawa backdrop, but here's a reason to. This was created for the CV Tusken Raider/Jawa Camp, but that set was never built. Since so many garrisons are building Mos Eisley backdrops for cons and such, this could add another dimension. This is a highly tweaked variation of the TD loop that was used at CV for the Mos Eisley backdrop. If this doesn't sound like The Death Star, I don't know what will! ENJOY! Blasting this in stereo will have an extra impact. I experimented MUCH more with the stereo field. It would definitely work in a scene reenactment if being pumped through a PA. I supposed it could be put on a backdrop or used with a costume every 30 minutes or so. This is a little clip I made for the clones in the UK garrison. Enjoy.įor those who are building remote control Mouse Droids, here is a little loop that will add some character to your droid. I didn't think I would like the chatter, but it really worked out with the flow of the loop. :) Version 2 is a slight more "PG rated" loop with trooper chatter and the roars tamed down a bit. Version 1 was deemed too scary for children, which is sort of understandable. There are both versions of the Roxy the Rancor loop I did for the Rancor at Celebration 6. Version 2 contains motion sounds for those with a remote control R2 unit. Version 1 contains nothing but R2 sounds for a stationary droid. :)įor those who are building a GONK droid, here is a little loop that will add some character to your droid. Same as the Spaceport below, but with the sounds of ships added. If you have two speakers for you backdrop, spread them out and you will really hear the difference. Only 10 minutes long, but I like how it turned out. NOTE: The TK and Biker Scout loops are too big for Bandcamp, so grab them off YouTube For those who build costumes or sets, ten bucks is nothing compared to what an accurate costume costs. I'm asking $10 for the entire collection, which is countless hours of work. I've made almost no money since the pandemic and maybe this could bring me a little bit each month. I've decided to put a price to the collection for download.
